About the Author
Kathi Wyldeck is a private English, Science and Maths tutor, and author of several books on grammar, writing technique and educational games. She has previously worked as curriculum developer and head teacher of junior studies at two Sydney tutoring colleges, and as a clinical and research technician at The Garvan Institute of Medical Research. She is the mother of three boys, the youngest of whom she home-schooled for several years. She runs a family website of active and educational games, general knowledge quizzes and writing topics at FunFitnessLearning.com. Kathi believes that a strong grounding in the fundamentals of the English language not only helps students with all their schoolwork, but also develops clear, logical thinking for adult life.

This General English book is very thorough, teaching students all they need to know about Intermediate English, from grammar, spelling and punctuation to reading comprehension, conversation and writing. With funny and interesting reading passages, general knowledge to increase a young person's understanding of the world, and answers at the back, this book is ideal for the classroom, for homeschoolers, and for ESL students.
